a night out at The Curve

The Curve is a very nice place, i really like it there.







you get the relaxing and calm feeling when you're there.



the band is always there performing during weekends, and they always have programs and surprises for customers. i really like live bands.

i was there with yi-shen and my friends; su, julian, wai mun and brendan for a night out the other day. we had dinner at Sakae Sushi, my first time there.





the food was very normal. the sushi's lost to what Sushi King had. the unique thing they provide was the order-by-yourself-without-the-hassle-of-calling-for-the-waiter service. you browse through the lcd screen and pick what you want from there.

there are pictures and descriptions for every item on the menu. but i got drowsy after a while because the wire for the mouse was very short, the lcd screen is at your side and it was much higher than your head level, so you'd have to look high up, stretch your arm and strain your eyes at looking at the small words. you'd feel sick too!



this particular dish looked so tempting on screen, but disappointed all of us when it arrived.

OH YEAH, I OFFICIALLY AM BLIND! I MEAN, NEED GLASSES. hate it, so uncomfortable wearing glasses!

after dinner, we wanted to catch a movie but couldn't get nice seats coz it was a saturday night. we ended up at paddington's house of pancakes.



somebody stole one of the banana fritters before i could take a picture! guess who was it? (hint: his name starts with a B)

back to kb

after such a long time, i finally got the chance to go back to kb for a break. from the stress of my working place, i really needed this trip. i went back for 4 days and ended up didn't want to come back. felt so sad when i thought of what i have to face everyday and really needed the strength to do so... =(

we had nasi ulam for lunch one day.



this is budu, a must with nasi ulam. you must squeeze plenty of lime in it, and chilli padis too.







if you guys do want to visit kelantan, must go and try nasi ulam yeah!

beng chuan has gone to UK for his degree. it will be a year later that i'll see him again. i could see how sad his mum was at the airport when he bid goodbye to them, made me want to cry myself. i really can't stand these kinda moments... beng chuan and i took the same flight back to kl, yi-shen fetched him back to his sis place and we said bye there. it wasn't a proper goodbye though... i didn't go to the airport with him the next day coz i had to work.

i hope everyone will grow and mature in one years' time...

a day out

this was how my hair looked before i went for a perm, accompanied by beng chuan, a home town friend if i haven't ever introduced him here. maybe this picture don't really show how my hair once looked, but i look good in it! so i decided on this particular pic! =D

so, it was my off day and i made an appointment for perming my hair since the curls were long gone. i last permed my hair like a year ago, if i'm not mistaken.


the progress... lasted for a long 4 hours... poor beng chuan...


i asked him to post as if he is very tired and bored of waiting, but after several shots, this is the best we could get.

i requested for big loose end curls, coz i like sexy matured curls... you know, like Suqi's? but i don't like Suqi, but i can't think of another actress that has those kinda curls permanently since they always change their hairstyles. ANYWAY, the outcome was horrible! i totally disliked my hair when it was done! the curls was oh so small! it was like a bowl of maggie mee poured onto my head and it was left hanging there! gosh!



we went walking around the shopping mall but nothing was that interesting. almost everything everywhere is the same. then, we decided to do something else. so off we went for another treat for ourselves, another for me at least...



i chose a foot massage while beng chuan insisted that he would do without that and opt for a back massage instead. how boring! if i want a back massage, i'll go for a full one! cause you only sit down and lay forward for this one.




does he looks like he's enjoying himself? hahah! it was painful the whole 45 minutes according to him, and had backache the next day!

the interior was kinda nice, although it is only a small hut, it has a very comfortable feeling.


look at the pillars, it even has hand-painted (or so i guess) motifs on it.

my foot massage was only ok. the lady went too hard on my calfs but too soft on my feet. it would be much nicer if it's the other way around.


they gave us a cup of warm tea before leaving, maybe to cleanse the toxics that they've loosen up.

my hair looks better now after several washes, but i will be reperming my hair soon! i gotta get it layered first to cut off some weight coz it's of almost the same length now.

some 'in & unin' teresting things

It has been a while... I've wanted to write another post here long ago, but there has been no connection in this house. I miss my blog. =D

Many things happened these few days. Uninteresting things though... Our room was flooded with rain water because we left the windows open. I bought a swimming suit and a set of bikini too! Bikini... Can anyone imagine why? I can't myself. Hahahah... Well... maybe there's always a 'just in case I get slim' right? Yeah... that's why.

Then, what else happened? Oh~ this is something more interesting. My very good friend and a girl friend of mine are lovers now! I went out with him like old days a few days ago where he told me the news like it was nothing. I find it funny then. I do feel happy for them, I do.

It has been many years since he was involved in a relationship with a girl. He told me his feelings about things happening now. Some which kept me wondering. Anyhow, I'll keep the details to myself~!
