Cupcakes!

I've fallen in love with pretty pretty cupcakes lately!

it was when one of our company's cake supplier showed me her cupcakes that amazed me; she designed cup cakes even for babies full moon celebration, blue for baby boys and pink for baby girls. so instead of giving typical full moon ang-ku-kueys, you can impress your friends and
relatives with the oh-wow-cupcakes. look!

elmo and cookie monsters faces cupcakes!

Don't you just love those irresistable rainbow colours butter icing coated on top of the cupcakes? how creatively the small cakes can be transformed into! instead of the normal round birthday cakes with "happy birthday cheryi" spelled on it, you can opt for cupcakes nowadays! i'm so sure everyone will go ooh and ahh over the cupcakes! i know i am talking like i'm selling cupcakes myself, but i don't know why but i'm just madly in love with them out of a sudden that i am seeing that i have a nice small store selling cupcakes!

it will be so beautiful and attractive and that everyone will wanna come and buy even if they don't normally like cakes! but they will like my cakes because my cakes are nice lil cupcakes!

this is a nice shop

this is my very own cupcake logo i designed out of 10 minutes! haha! CHERRIE CUPCAKES will be my shop name, heh, guess this will do for the time being!

i'll have my logo everywhere! on the plates, on the wall, on the boxes, on the ceiling, the door, the window, the paper bag, my apron, eveywhere! and slowly i'll have the cupcake logo on notebooks, pencils, ribbons and everthing, that people can buy because they won't be able to resist the cute pink cupcake picture and they'll wanna have it!

as i was talking to my sis, we'll run this business together, my mum will be tending to the shop, ching being the marketing manager, since she studied marketing; chyi will be the head chef, as she wanted to be a chef but because of her precious fingernails she decided against it! and me, i'll be the creative director for our brand!

yeah, since secondary school days, whatever shop it may be, we've been constantly planning for our own nice and cosy shop. there had been plans for a bridal shop, handi-craft shop, what else i can't remember.. but my best friend chew szee and i had always wanted to have a shop, until we've grown up, she went to singapore, me still here, given up hope about my other 'dream' of being a cabin crew while keep putting on weight; that we slowly forget about the dreams we had together. but remembering what we shared those days brings back real good feelings!

well for now, i'll continue dreaming of my shop...

in the mean time, do promise you'll be my customer when you see my shop one day!

my birthday

It has been more than a month ago that i celebrated my birthday at TGIF with my sisters, yi-shen, buiyi (my aunt) and my cousin. I did wear the dress i bought to the dinner. Well, the food sucks, but we did enjoy ourselves.

ching wore a dress too, a green new one. i won't show you her picture here coz i want to be the prettiest here in my blog. buiyi and faye did wore dresses as well, only chyi didn't coz she said she doesn't have one.

Not so nice but still gotta show coz there isn't many pictures that were nicely taken, thanks to yi-shen, '_'

the appetizers

chyi's steak

my lamb chop, which was so disappointing!

yi-shen had chicken, nando's is better than them.

i forgot what this was, but sure don't look good, nor taste good either.

faye's pasta

ching's pasta, i remember she said it was good.

showing you the rings i got.

i brought a lot of pirate's stuff there, and at the end of the party, we brought out the pirates in us! and took pictures...

someone's posing... =D

on another day, actually it's one day before my birthday, we went drinking in sri hartamas. didn't really enjoyed myself coz it was kinda boring. couldn't get drunk, that's why!

only chyi went with me, ching was too tired, she claimed... broke my heart.

yi-shen and 3 other friends went together but not gonna show the pictures lah, tiring.

(another story)

Ching went and perm her hair! she really has the courage, look what she's done.

before

&

after

heheh.... ok lah, show you a more recent pic.

by the way, the one standing beside ching is chyi. have they changed?

you'll have to go through this if you want to perm you hair like hers. they calculated, she had 180 curlers on her head.

but it's worth it lah, right?

(another nother story)

alicia, my closest cousin who has been in australia many many years already, came back recently. i managed to meet up with her only for 2 days. not enough time to really catch up, we took a couple of pictures in KLIA when yi-shen and i sent them there.

whoever knows my cousin will know that she has lost tons of weight! she is now skin wrap bone only ok! everyone can loose weight, only me is always put on never loose it! huak!

lastly, whole big family take photo lorh! When she left, everyone cried... (except the oh-so-macho guys). not to say i wanna be so emotional lah, but if you were there, you'd cry too!

i'll next tell you all about the big party i organized. it was awesome! heheh! actually , my job is not only organizing parties lah, i have to do a lot of other things too. like secretarial jobs lah, personal assistant's job lah, runner, waitress, cleaner.... hahha!!

What have I been up to lately?

Aye aye Capt'!

Lately, I have been very busy with an upcoming birthday party. The theme of the party is Pirates this time, and it's my boss' birthday.

Let me tell you how busy I am, okay?

Last month, I organized 2 themed parties in a row for their children, Fairies & Wizards for the daughter, and Pirates for the son.

The decorations...

Every gal got a pair of fairy wings when they arrived, and wizard hats for the boys.

too bad I was too busy and didn't manage to take a picture of the boys with their wizard hats. Two boys even came with their own hat and robe, which made them look like Harry Potter!

We had a Fairy's Nail Art Station for the fairies, of course.

Make-up!

Alexander is super cute, I just love him! Every girl will fall in love with him!

"I'm not naughty, I'm funny!" Can you believe that? I heard him telling one uncle at the party.

The cake was awesome! Ask me if you want the contacts of this lady who baked the cake, she bakes wonderful cakes!

Look! It even had something to surprise the kids! There were lotsa jelly beans underneath the castle roof!

Pinata! I was kinda excited over this because it was my first pinata… I mean, it wasn't for me, but it was a party I organized!

Sadly, no one got to break the pinata, it was a lousy pinata! So in the end, I tored the pinata into half! Although that shouldn't be the way, every kid was too busy with the goodies fallen down and couldn't be bothered that they weren't the one who broke the damned pinata!

The birthday girl and her giant Birthday card.

p/s: It took ages for me to upload the pictures! I'm feeling KINDA frustrated over it! I can only upload one picture at a time and it's irritating!!!

BIG SIGH.....

Now, the Pirate Birthday Bash.

This time, we had a pirate's tattoo station. This is a must because everyone knows that all pirates needs tattoos, right? hehe..

Not only the kids wanted tattoos, the mums chose the large ones! *roll eyes*

I had swords hanging on the ceiling, and pirate flags all around.

Swords made of balloons, which I think looks good. We actually had a pinata as well, but no pictures...... sorrrrrrwie~

Tell me this cake didn't impress you.

Look at him!

The pirates.

The cute one.

Again, you all must excuse me if the pictures aren't too interesting as it sounds. It is solely because I had so many things to do I totally didn't have the time to take nice pictures. Please have better imagination! =D Thanks.
