when my mum and youngest sister came for holiday....
we went out e-ve-ry-day.
we went for hair perms, makans, karaoke sessions, makans, and of course not to forget shopping! my legs were almost numb after so many days of walking.
this is the card i made for li, coz she was jealous that i made a birthday card for faye and did nothing for her birthday! so now she's happy.
a picture of me, ugly but pretty. wahaha!
we visited one vietnamese restaurant named in sunway pyramid. the food was surprisingly tasty. we ordered a platter, (which as usual, i forgot to take a picture. all we remember is to eat when the food comes, it's always until we've eaten almost half of it that one of us will say "OH! we forgot to take a picture!!") a noodle, and a dessert.
the menu
this is me and my mum trying to pose for a picture of pretending to study the menu.
but in the end we did manage to capture one that is not too fake.
the waiter is from vietnam itself, and was friendly enough to tell my mum how is the weather there coz my mum is making plans to go to vietnam with my dad sometime.
and this is cher li, my youngest sister falling in love with the vietnamese waiter! hahaha! (this was what i told her i'm gonna write in my blog)
eating time!
the food was good, the environment of the restaurant was also quite good, the service was good, plus the owner of the restaurant was so so friendly that it was abit too much! she kinda talk to us like old friends. but of course, it's better than having bad service lah right... so, i will go back to the restaurant again next time i'm in sunway pyramid.
we had tea one day at paddington house of pancake when yi-shen's mum so happen came to kl too. so it was sort of like a parents meet up thing. it turned out ok, everyone liked everyone. except our dear yi-shen was disturbingly quiet which he denies but was so obvious.
this was what we shared, normal pancake with a scoop of ice-cream and some bananas. the pancakes are nice, they are different from what you cook at home or eat at waffle's world. you guys should go and have a try.
the variety of pancakes so was large that we needed time to actually choose what we wanted. from gourmet to desserts, they are all made of pancakes. there are thick and thin pancakes, pancakes from different countries, pancakes of different colours, etc etc.
this is the half eaten picture of what cher li ordered. there are all sorts of berries in it, the pancakes are of smaller sized and is called dollar pancakes. interesting.
this is their version of bruchetta
although it is quite pricey to dine there, i will go again coz there are so many things i want to try out.
my mum stayed with us for too many a days that i missed going back home from work to see her at home. how i wish she can shift to kl and stay with us...
